I-88 Reagan Memorial Tollway, Midway Road (M.P. 67.3) to IL 251 (M.P. 76.8)

As the Construction Manager for this project, DB Sterlin oversaw on-site inspection, coordinated and monitored maintenance of traffic activities, reviewed layout of contract including design changes, provided geotechnical inspection and testing, prepared records, maintained documentation, submitted pay estimates and change orders, and any other duties requiring the services of an engineer to complete the project on a timely basis and in accordance with Tollway specifications.

DB Sterlin also provided Phase III construction surveying which included staking, cross-sectioning, layout verification, horizontal and vertical control checking, measurement, computation, and documentation of quantities.

The scope of services for this contract consisted of providing the Phase III engineering services required for 10 miles of roadway resurfacing, reconstruction, drainage, and bridge repairs of the Reagan Memorial Tollway between Midway Road (M.P. 67.3) and IL 251 (M.P. 76.8) in Lee and Ogle Counties, Illinois.

Additional work included installing culverts, reconstructing interchange ramps, pavement patching, roadway reconstruction and resurfacing, bridge deck replacement, bridge superstructure, and substructure repairs, drainage ditch construction, bioswale installation, underdrain installation, storm sewers, guardrail modifications, earthen slope grading, and landscaping.
