We’re thrilled to share that DB Sterlin Consultants, Inc. has acquired M Squared Engineering, LLC (M²), a well-respected Wisconsin-based firm known for its exceptional work in water resources, transportation engineering, and site development throughout Illinois and Wisconsin over the past 23 years.

This is more than just an acquisition, it’s a natural partnership. For over two decades, M² has served municipalities, developers, and agencies across Wisconsin and Illinois with services including transportation engineering, complex drainage / hydraulics, construction inspection, land surveying, municipal engineering, aviation planning & design, and FEMA flood management. Their extensive local knowledge and technical expertise will help broaden our reach and strengthen our capabilities, especially in drainage and water resource management, two critical areas for many of our clients.

With roots in Chicago, DB Sterlin has spent the last 25+ years building a reputation for delivering smart, tailored solutions in civil, structural, construction, and utility engineering.  We’re proud of the trust we’ve earned across Illinois and beyond—serving clients like the Illinois Department of Transportation and Illinois Tollway to the City of Chicago, Cook County, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, as well as railroad clients, and private and public utilities —and we’re excited to bring that same commitment and collaboration to new communities in Wisconsin.
